Information, not professional services

Guides and tools are for education, organizing questions and deciding what to investigate next. They are not medical advice or diagnosis, laboratory testing, a licensed well/septic/building inspection, engineering design, legal advice or regulatory-compliance certification. No page, completed checklist or tool result certifies drinking-water safety, property condition or permission to resume water use.

Official evidence and RHC planning rules

Agency sources support only the identified claims and conditions. RHC task ordering, triage priorities, estimates and adjustments are our planning choices—not government formulas, deadlines or endorsements. Sources may differ, become outdated or leave questions unresolved. State/local rules, permits, system conditions, professional findings and the actual laboratory report may change the next step. Confirm requirements with the responsible authority rather than treating a general page as a universal rule.

Tool limitations

• Water Test Recommender: organizes a testing discussion from reported inputs; it does not measure contaminants, interpret every existing result, diagnose contamination or give safety clearance.
• Septic Maintenance Estimator: gives maintenance-planning references and priorities—not observed tank condition, a legal pumping deadline or septic inspection.
• My Rural Home: organizes a locally saved checklist. Unknown inputs remain questions to verify; completion is not a safety certificate.
• No-water/low-pressure tool: offers safe-observation triage and professional handoff—not electrical diagnosis or repair instructions.

Results depend on provided information and model limits. A risk not reported is not ruled out. Do not delay urgent assessment to complete a tool or use its result to override applicable safety/professional guidance.

External services and commercial boundaries

External agencies, laboratories and vendors operate separately. Availability, qualifications, tests, prices, privacy practices and terms need direct confirmation. We do not currently accept payments, sell inspections, submit provider requests or connect service calls through this site. A research comparison is not a booking, endorsement or guarantee. Future commercial links must be disclosed at the action; see Disclosures.

Responsible use and corrections

Do not misrepresent a planning output as a test report, inspection, professional credential or official approval. Do not interfere with site operation or use it to submit unlawful or harmful material. Respect applicable law and third-party rights when reusing content; linked agency material has its own terms.
